View Airport to the north coast in a larger map
The walk is not difficult
although the pathways can be uneven and rocky in places. It should be possible to take a rugged pushchair. But please note:
1, In one or two places you may have to lift the pushchair over rocks in the path and also over soft sand beaches.
The total length is just over 1.2 miles 2.0 Km
Starting in the car park at Binimel-La take the path to your left down to Binimel-La beach. At the western end take the path following the post and rope fence over the headland, passing a rocky beach and onto the first of two fine golden sand beaches at Cala Pregonda.
At this point you have the option of following a section of the Cami de Cavalls further west on to the second of Cala Pregonda's beaches. This path is very rough and steep, not really suitable for the very young or infirm.
The walk over the headland is very stark but very beautiful with it's red soil and golden red rocky outcrops making for a "Martian" looking landscape
What to take:
Good comfortable shoes, sun hat, sun cream, bathing costume, a picnic and a large bottle of water.
