Nor the north around Arenal, Coves Noves, Fornells etc. (We were there for 2 weeks in July). A hugely disappointing experience that was not typical of the island that I know and love. We're back again in September so will see if there have been changes!

Please find a link to Auto Fornells http://www.autosfornells.com/ -this is the bus company that serves Arenal and its environs! Its cheap and, I believe, reliable.

Hi all, just got back last Friday. The promenade is almost completed (my wife and I walked over it to the end of the apartments on the beach. I would guess, at the current rate, it'll be completed for Easter. We go back that week so will check and update interested parties on our return. Kind regard...
