Re: Quick Visit
I had a brief week over from May 8 and there was literally NOBODY on the beach one day at Cala n Porter! It was a bit cloudy but this just underlined that the whole island was very quiet during that week.

Re: Anyone know which bar...
Hi Sue, we left there yesterday, no sign of any new bars appearing so other posting may be correct..............for a change had a couple of really good offerings for dinner at Miguel's Las Dunas which we had tended to swerve before this! Well done Sue, thanks for your daily jottings........... I am over May 2 till 9 so not long now. Hopefully more units will be open, but honestly these days we spend most time out of Son Bou for the very reasons you mention, and Mahon, Cuitadella and the Fornells and Binibecca get most of our time. W...

Re: Back in 6 weeks
Hi everyone, we are coming over 2>9 May, and I am anticipating most things to be up and running in Son Bou and all that glass cleared away down the passage by the late great Copacabana..........if not I will be getting by brush out! Although I am hoping Sue Adderley gets there first as she is over a...

Re: Xmas/New Year Review
Well done Sue, sounded a bit too nippy for us, but nice to experience a "locals Christmas". My first visit will be May 2 for a week with my cousin.

Funny that about the flies we were in Torre Soli 15-23 Oct and I have never been bothered by them before but this year everywhere we sat beach, beach bar, restaurant, apartment balcony, inside, bloody fly on my leg, arm, head. Next year Defo will have a handy swatter and fly spray handy!
