Re: Trip Report 2015
Hi Caroliner, sorry I didn't mean to sound like we had a bad holiday it was still great despite the dubious quality of our villa  wished we had gone back to a previous villa we had stayed at in Cala Galdana with Cosmos though as it was better appointed. Our car didn't get used much, we're on h...

Re: Trip Report 2015
Yes there will always be some like that, but there will be others who go out and spend on trips and meals, waterpark, boat trips etc Arguably people who book villa holidays and sit by the pool all week, picnic for lunch and BBQ of an evening with food bought from a big shop at Lidle don't contribute...

Re: Strikes
So do British Air Traffic control, but they don't keep holding holiday makers to ransom. As Globetrotter points Spanish ATC the earn double what an ATC at Heathrow does - it's just greed. and arguably in a country with a lower cost of living than the UK and 5 million unemployed. And yes I kno...

Re: Strikes
I wonder why it is always Spanish ATC and French ATC who strike. I don't think I can remember a UK ATC strike for donkeys years or any other Country's for that matter (Italy maybe ?). Talk about holding people to ransom, the people they affect are other working class folk who are trying to get away ...

Re: At the Copa, Copacabana......
It's all a bit problematic if you make your target group one that has economic limitations i.e. Spanish teenagers. How on earth will that work. In a way tourists are a more certain economic group to go for as even if they are pretty brasic most of the year, people will save for 50 weeks to spl...

Re: Trip Report 2015
Don't think that is necessarily true. Many people who go AI go out and about as well, it's extremely unfair to stereotype in that way. For most it's not much different from being in a Half Board place, places that offer both, the clients use the same evening buffet. It's just that the price differen...

Re: Trip Report 2015
Great report, I love reading about other peoples holidays, so thank you for putting in the time to do it. Shame it sounds like it was quiet as it makes you feel for the business owners, but it is early in the season so still time for it to pick up.
