I've seen a few posts from years back about buses but does anyone have any up to date info, I.e. Where you can get to from Arenal and how regular they are?

My son is joining us on Saturday at Arenal and has asked if there is anything like this in the area. I've told him about the canoes and pedalo on the beach but wondered if there is anything further afield and if there are excursions that would take you there?

One last question, does it get busy on the road into the airport on a Saturday morning around 10 a.m.?
