Thanks for the replies on this subject. I was hoping that there was a church nearer than Alaior ie in Na Macaret or Addaia as the research was for some people who don't want to hire a car.

I'll have to investigate the area more on my next trip.

Thanks again.

Catholic Churches nr Arenal d'en Castell

Does anyone know where the nearest Catholic Church is in the Arenal area, which conducts a Sunday Service.

Can anyone help on this?

Thanks

Pat

Hi,

We own a property just along from the Marina Parc, it looks a very well maintained complex and does look nice. If its any help they have a Thomas Cook flag flying so it may be worth contacting them.

Hope this helps.

For good beaches to suit all the family on the South of the island is Son Bou and Santo Tomas, venture to the North and there is Arenal D'en Castell and Son Parc.

All these beaches have plenty of room.

If you are still looking for hostels, there is one in the Alaior area called Jennys it is close to the main Mahon to Ciudadella road. It has a nice bar and a reasonable restaurant. For private letting in many areas of Menorca check out http://www.ownersdirect.co.uk they do cover the Alaior area and ...

The largest Brit community we have come across whilst in Menorca is at Cala en Porter. We met an English couple who ran a bar there, they had been living in the resort for approx 5 years and did not speak any Spanish as everyone in the area spoke English. This is not for us as we go to Menorca to be...

We stayed in Coves Noves last June for two weeks which is about a ten minute walk from Arenal D'en Castell. There is a great beach at Arenal and you can also go diving from there if you wish. We booked our private accommodation through Menorca Villa Holidays. Their website is http://www.menorcavilla...

We were in Arenal last June for two weeks, and we hired a car for our entire stay. You will be able to find your way around Arenal very easily without a map it has one main street that runs along by the beach. It is a quiet and pretty resort with two high rise hotels (the Aguamarina and the Castell ...
