Re: Back from our 12th visit
Dandelion, although this is the first year we've had them living in the garden, we've seen them several times on the road to Sa Mesquida and also on the "old scary road" that ran from Son Vitamina up to Alaior, though now that's been widened they might have all been scared off. I can't get involved ...

Re: October Half Term
End of by any chance ????????? I doubt it Uncle Bert. I've never taken my boy out of school, because as mentioned up the thread, I would be losing my money if I did so. Interestingly, (though I can only speak for 2 private schools, not all obviously), the staff there have never gone on strik...

But the fines are not enforceable by law I believe and hardly anyone pays ...

Re: October Half Term
My son is at a fee paying school too. Breaks up around 4th July, but because I work in a state school, we can't get away until 17th or 18th July usually, about a week before the state schools near me break up. I don't like hotels, so we stay in a villa, where nobody bothers us and we don't bother an...

Re: Caves sunset chillout
Thanks, we arrive about a week before the schools (England) break up, so for the first week at least, miss the crush of high season. I'm not the most social of folks, but this sounds good. Thanks.

What time does this start? Do you have to book in advance?
Might give it a look next July.

Re: Back from our 12th visit
The Witbit (I may have the name wrong) is a giant, inflatable thing, anchored about 25 metres out in the sea with slides etc. not my cup of tea.
I think this is their website, it is actually a Wibit http://www.wibitsports.com/?gclid=CK2zl ... tAodpAsAiQ
