I think he means the Scottish independence debate. :grin: Individual councils decide if they are going to impose fines, schools then report to the EWO's (truant officers) and the money is payable to the local council offices. But the fines are not enforceable by law I believe and hardly anyone pays ...

Thanks, we arrive about a week before the schools (England) break up, so for the first week at least, miss the crush of high season. I'm not the most social of folks, but this sounds good. Thanks.
