There is a shopping centre The Centro Shopping centre which is in a spiral. On the first floor of the spiral is a really nice leather shop, quality goods not necessarily cheap. further up the spiral is a Nao/Lladro shop with a good selection. These are big apartments in fact they are detatched villas which share a pool, there is a bar there with pool tables and mini golf, it is very central for restaurants and shops, there is also a path from the complex down on to one of the coves. happy holidays :P

If you want to go to Cala'n Bosch beach the buses stop opposite the Biniforcat Apts, they leave at 09.50 and 12.20 and return later in the afternoon. I know that there are the lifts to get people in wheelchairs on/off planes. as I saw these being used on our flights last year and as the arrivals part of the airport is downstairs there must be a ramp or lift to accomodate disabled people :)

There are two small coves either side of the hotel, pretty but not much of a beach, but there are regular buses to the beaches in Cala'n Bosch which stop outside the hotel. The nearest market is in Cuitadella, but not really a hippy market. :)
