Vino

Hi

We've found that most of the house Red Riojas are great and very inexpensive (ranging from about 7 Euros per bottle). We were most impressed!!

El Anca

I would agree that this is one of the best restaurants in the port. The prawns with leeks sauce is a great starter and the soupy seafood rice (served in a tureen big enough for 2) is also fantastic. Good value for money, some of the restaurants in the port are a rip-off!

Es Gregal

I agree that this restaurant is one of the best in Mahon. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is very good. The asparagus (green for a change) with chipperones (baby squid) as a starter is fantastic. The fish is very nicely cooked and the red house wine is excellent and cheap. Also home ...

Portobello

I would agree that this restaurant is average. We have had the suckling pig and baby lamb on a couple of occasions, the first time it was excellent, the next time it was undercooked. We haven't tried the paella, but the spagetti with clams had no sauce, just loads of garlic and parsley. There are no...

Costa Sur

I agree that the Costa Sur is top notch. The staff are attentive and menu is good. I would recommend the savory crepes with prawns and leeks to start, but follow with fish or clams as they're very filling. The cheese souffle is also excellent.

Arthurs

We've ate at Arthurs numerous times (in the evening during high seaon)and haven't had any trouble with the service. I can't comment on any of the meals apart from the seafood paella, which is fantastic (and cheap) and is one of the only ones we've found to contain crab.

Boni's Restaurant

We have visited Menorca on numerous occasions and in our opinion Boni's Zarzuela is the best on the island. The serving is huge (enough for 2), contains at least 5 different types of fish and the sauce is fantastic. Admittedly it's not the cheapest thing on the menu, but it is good value for what yo...
