Thinking about a change from South coast resorts to Cala Blanca for next year. How does CB compare to Say Son Bou or Binibeca in terms of number and quality of places to eat and drink?

Just out of curiosity Sue... which Son Bou bars and restaurants have opened up at this time of year? Is it too early for our faves compostela and kit kat at the top, Arthur’s and Las Dunas along the bottom? Hard to imagine the resort quiet when we compare it to our peak season visits!

Thanks Keefyd. From what you have described ST in the 80s was just the hotels on the south side of the road? Was the block of shops where Halleys Bar is now built and open then?

Any signs of the site being tidied up or brought back into use? We were last in Son Bou Aug 16 and it was quite an eyesore. Hoping to be back this Summer and wondered if there would be much change?

Could anybody give a pointer on accommodation providers for an out of season visit please. All the mainstream villa providers seem to have nothing until Summer flights start up in May - guessing I would need to go to a smaller or local villa rental company ?
