Hi , Prob too late for you but there is fuel at the airport..noticed it this morning (fri)when dropping off our hire car.(funny don't remember it last year, but perhaps not noticed in the usual rush for flights etc) As stated Poppy cars come with enough fuel to take you round the island ! Enjoy
Menorca is my favourite place in the world...apart from my bed. If I could just combine the two.

Hi

First post, so please be gentle :)

We will be travelling to Hamilton Apartments in Santo Tomas next Saturday (23 October) and collecting a vehicle from Poppy Cars at the airport.

The thing is that we will be arriving quite late. The plane is due to land at 21:00. We would like to just get some water etc. to tide us over until the next day. Is there a supermarket en-route which is likely to be open at that time of night, or will we need to buy some from a bar?

Thanks
Andrew

Hi and welcome to Menorca Talk.

You won't find any shops open much after 21:00 but you will find that some garages are, and as in the UK they sell food and drink items. Not all garages are 24 hour so I suggest you call in the one at the airport if it's open. This map http://www.menorca-net.co.uk/maps/menor ... irport.php shows you where the garage is, but if in any doubt ask Roger [Poppycars] he'll show you how to get to it.

Enjoy your holiday.
