Post by Maynard » April 14th, 2011, 11:30 am

Hi all

I have been reading a lot of blogs by all of you, now i am waiting for the 5th May 2011 so i can book my return journey to the Mestral and Llebeig.

May 23rd to the 6th June 2012 don't care what the price is, i'm coming back to the best Balearic Island ever.

Who else is coming out in 2012 and the dates?

Hi All

New on here but loving reading all of the tips and how much you all like Santo Tomas. We have booked for two weeks at the beginning of May 2012. Us, 10 year old son and grandparents. Really looking forward to it but first time in Menorca so unsure what to expect. Other half was worried that we were off to the back of beyond. Bit rich when we live on a small quiet island year round. We don't like really lively but are hoping for a few trips out.

 Welcome to our site, we are sure you will love the peace and tranquillity of Menorca, just out of curiosity, if you live on a small Island, where is it
I only let him think he's in charge.

Thanks for that - we live on the Isle of Man. Small, peaceful and pretty, just cold, wet and windy. Much prefer the sound of Menorca for a fortnight in the summer.

hi mum of two
you have chosen well, almost half way down the island. you will need a car for your excursions, lovely place not too busy also a short walk from sonbou and more secluded beaches in the other direction.car hire is available at san tomas. sundays are the busiest
for locals and families of ferreries etc
enjoy!

Thanks all. We were sitting listening to the wind howl and the rain beat down last night and googled weather in Menorca to see that it was 20 degrees and the sea was 21. Other half now really excited as he loves to kayak and other sea sports so that is him happy for the holiday.

Counting the days.

if you live in IoM you will be quite at home in Menorca, the landscape is much like the Lake District, Galloway or IoM in parts - just warmer and sunnier. Enjoy.
