Cab fare

Post by dennis the menace » July 17th, 2018, 7:15 pm

Anyone know how much a cab fare will be from Mahon airport to Cala Galdana? I'm asking because I'm planning a visit next June 2019 (I'll be there this Sep as well  ) and the tour company are asking £70 return for 2 people. wonder if a cab is cheaper.

Well Susie, you beat me to it.

Me thinks this list is old, but as Steve asked recently for anyone with an up to date one, but no replies. I imagine if 'dennis the menace' were to ask when there in September this year, a driver then they would let him know.

Hope this helps or if you want to look at Suntransfers.com

May be it might be cheaper to look at hiring a car for your stay next year.

Thanks for the replies. As soon as I posted the question I googled it. A site I was on was charging around £40 one way so I'll stick with the transfer at £70. Cheers. I will ask in September though

I joined our granddaughter last year in Cala en Forcat for her second week, I booked independently with Jet2 transfers and it cost me £27 return
I only let him think he's in charge.

When you say independently with Jet2 transfers I take it you flew there with a different airline and Jet2 tours are an independent company offering the coach transfer?

I can't remember who I flew with, it may have been Monarch then from Leeds, but you can arrange a transfer with jet2 even if you don't fly with them I believe.

You can just book transfers independently, no need to fly with them. On the Jet2 site I believe their transfers are under holiday extras. We also used them from Alacante to Denia earlier this year

Thanks for that link Alan. I'll be using it for a long weekend in March to Arenal d'en Castell  . The jet2 link only quoted for private cab hire which was way to expensive.

Probably because its out of the season. We were struggling to find transfers from Malaga to Cadiz next March, plenty after May in the holiday season, but only taxi's before.
