Smoking/Restaurant's

Post by dennis the menace » September 9th, 2018, 5:03 pm

Currently in Cala Galdana and find it hard to adjust to eating outside or on a terrace of a restaurant with people smoking around me. The only place I can safely eat is probably inside Tabogans. Really pisses me off. Should be a law not to smoke around people eating. Well rude

How about a law to stop people eating in designated smoking areas and complaining about the smoke?!

Here here. That's providing there are designated areas.

Was expecting a comment like this. Typical response from someone that smokes.

I find this really annoying my husband smokes and we take great care to sit where smoking is allowed. If there is ashtrays on the tables smoking is allowed. Some people want everything to suit them we were in a restaurant in cnb sitting at a table on the pavement when someone sitting 2 tables away asked my husband not to smoke when they were eating. Even though he had been smoking when they sat down - why sit down so close. Fed up being made to be a 2nd class citizen because you smoke, it does not make you a bad person.

Rant over

Why not ban smoking in all public places, that’s what I’d do if I could.

I agree with cidersteve - there are too many comments coming from people who like to tell us how to live. If it's legal do what you want.

I agree with davethebirder and cidersteve if you are not breaking the law carry on. Just another point when you are sitting outside in a restaurant or bar what about the people who walk by smoking. We were sitting in El Faro's last week when a man walked passed and dropped a lit cigar right beside our table and just walked on. Live and let live
