Travellers cheques or cash?

Post by DebzC » July 11th, 2013, 6:13 pm

Hi all, I haven't been to Menorca for years (about 10) and last time we were over the other side of the island. We're going to Cala Blanca in a couple of weeks and we're staying in a villa. We are not hiring a car, we've got a coach transfer from the airport. With that in mind is there anywhere in Cala Blanca that will change Amex Euro travellers cheques or should I just load up with cash?

Why do you need travellers cheques? you can use your debit or credit card exactly as you do at home. Not much help to you at the moment though Gary, hope you got it sorted.

We have stayed in a Villa several times and allways take cash and lock it in a suitcase. Found the exchange rate at Sagittario less than back here this year.
