Flight change

Post by skipz » January 1st, 2014, 8:57 am

Hi guys, as above, this has put a spanner in the works :hlp: We wont now be landing until half8 menorca time, then driving to Calan Forcat. Due to us having booked a villa, wewill need to get basics, ie, food and beverages for the night until we can get proper supplies the following day. Does anyone know of a supermarket not too far from the airport heading in the right direction and if possible, what time does it close?

Thanks

Brian

If you do miss the supermarkets them the petrol stations, which you'll pass on the way usually have the essentials in. They are normally open until at least midnight.

Alternately you can e mail the villa agents and they can arrange for basics to be in the villa when you get there and you just pay them when you are there....I believe this is a common thing to do..

I agree just speak to your villa agent and they should arrange something for you.
Or if you wait until CnF most of the bigger supermarkets in resort, Talayot, Top Markets, Asda price, or I think Betterbuy supermarket down by the Los delfines will tend to stay open until 10pm ish from May onwards
It takes approx 35- 40 minutes to drive it from the airport so you should be fine. in fact we always land at 6.30 pm and by the time we pick up the car etc, we are still in resort for 7.30/7.45pm

yes your villa management team will always get you in a welcome pack or if you do not know who they are ask the
people you are renting the villa from to arrange this for you
