Piano bars in Mahon?

Coming for the first time to Menorca.
Are there any pianobars or hotels with piano entertainment on Mahon?

Hi Paul and welcome to the site.
The Port Mahon hotel I think in the Summer works as a piano bar.
But where I go is on the Port of Mahon on either Saturday or Sunday lunch time.
It is called Can Vermout they have live music

Not sure if it's a piano bar, but what about Bar Nou in Mahon. Doesn't it have jazz nights etc ?

There's Akelarre Jazz Club at the far end of the port, not sure how much piano music goes on there though! Here's a Trip Advisor link: - http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant ... lands.html

Restaurant Way (Chinese) on the port also sometimes has a pianist playing.

Of course, if you're visiting between 29th July and 24th August, the annual music festival will be on in Mahon. So you'll find all kinds of live music events taking place outside bars, in the squares, and in the church. Here's a snippet of info about the opening: -

The concert will open the Festival on Wednesday July 29 in the church of Santa Maria in Mahon, will be the organist Juan de la Rubia with a new project on the island, how will this action in which will be screened white film and black 'Faust' Murnau while the Valencian musician improvise the soundtrack.

Akelarre Jazz Club a great place but it doesn't start until 12am a bit too late for me these days

The Salsa dancing is fab to watch in there.
