Can anyone who knows Alaior recommend a restaurant? I've found one called Can Jaumot but would like to hear other recommendations too. Don't mind what type of cuisine as long as its friendly and relatively easy to find
Also - are there any evenings that are better than others to visit Alaior, in terms of street markets, live music or other entertainment etc.
Thanks

Re: Restaurants in Alaior
Wednesday in July and August is best, market and live music in the square at the top of the main street. We normally eat in the Casino and watch the entertainment (ringside view) It get a little busy but we've always managed to get a table, I don't think you can book one when there's the market/entertainment on.

Re: Restaurants in Alaior
Just wanted to update you that after discovering the fabulous Cafe d'es Pla in Sant Climente (just within stumbling distance of our villa ) - we never made it to Alaior. The live jazz in the square on Wednesday nights was magical and Tolo's food was delicious. Great service too. A new favourite of the Hodgson family. Highly recommended.
