 We called last night for a meal, at the moment they are only doing the set menu at 20 euro a head including a very nice house wine, plenty of choice (three course) i started with the yummy mussels, then yummy lamb with sliced potatoes and veg, finishing of with chocolate mousse, oh and not forgetting Anita's famous home made garlic mayonnaise and bread Mmmm, Steve had fish, Andy had steak and Jenny had lamb, all very, very nice. Until Eater they are only open Saturday lunch, then the evening and open Sunday lunch only, after Easter they will be open every day with the full menu. :ele:
I only let him think he's in charge.

Denise- you have no idea how marvellous to read your report on El Faros and the lovely yummy food! We have so many happy memories as a family of over 20 plus years of eating at Andreas & Anita's restaurants. We first ate the lamb dish (it was one of the specials that day) and the mussels when they were at the Bini Cudi and now whenever we manage to be in Menorca wherever they are has always been our first port of call. As you know they always always make you welcome and although sometimes there is a huge gap between our visits they seem to remember us and treat us like long lost friends. Thanks for making my day- although I'm sat at work on a cold North Easten afternoon -in my mind I'm sat over looking the brilliant blue sea at El Faros!
Deb

 Just heard this week that Andreas and Anita have sold El Faro, we don't know any more but we wish them a very happy retirement.
