Where's your villa?

Nowehere's really too far to walk in CnP, we've had villas down towards Cova D'en Xoria and walked up with a young child, it's the missus who usually complains

It’s villa Leander on Travessia de l’avenguda (think that’s correct spelling).
When I looked on satellite didn’t look to far to supermarkets but on street view it does

No water slides unless they are updating this year

I meant the water slides in Siestamar Apartments. I’ve read that our 9 year old can use them if we buy a drink in the apartments.

If its Travessia de L'avinguda central then its only a short stroll to the play area and water slides we stay at Villa Rioja on the other side of the street literally a few minutes walk have a great holiday

It's not far 5-10mins stroll, we've stayed in Villa Olga a few times and that is twice as far from the supermarkets but still walkable in the evenings.

Hi Duffer, just so you are aware, there are only two water slides at the siesta Mar apartments, I've stayed there a couple of times and the pool is great for kiddies as it's quite shallow and there is also the separate (ish) baby pool. I'm sure you will have a great time in cnp but please don't expect anything like a water park type of thing at the siesta Mar.

Hello Louize, thanks for that. I’m not too worried about that because our 9 year old has autism and doesn’t see the danger or limitations of the big slides at the water parks although he does love water.
The 2 smaller slides might be ideal, and the shallower water.
If not we can go to a bigger water park. Which ones are close and are they just a bus ride away?

Hi Duffer, yes there are other water parks on the island but to get there by bus, you would have to bus into mahon and then bus to the resorts which have water parks, so not ideal. You could hire a car for a couple of days and go exploring and driving in menorca is relatively straight forward and easy so that would open up a lot more choices, there is also the zoo which would be a pleasant way to spend 2 or 3 hours, it's called lloc de menorca or something like that, but if you do an Internet search, it'll come up. I'm sure your son will enjoy the two water slides at siesta Mar, my son did, hope that helps.
