Villers to rent at christmas

Post by missy82 » August 2nd, 2019, 10:09 am

Hi

We would love to come and stay at Christmas time (the "weather", "everything wont be open" etc does not bother us)

I know a lot of viller owners don't rent out in the winter, but surely there must be a few ....

I'm sure if you contacted any owners they would be pleased to rent out of season, just make sure that they have adequate heating else you will be frozen.

The issue is the high level of damp in the winter, ours is "winterised" in October. It either needs to be lived in and heated or winterised and dehumidified from then. For the low rate one can ask out of season it's just not cost effective for us.

A long let might make sense, but not weeks here and there.
