Hey Ciaran,

You should register on the Endesa website to receive e-bills. That way, you can easily check how much you are forking out, and better still see the breakdown of charges. Make sure your potencia figure isn't higher than you need by using the above calculator.

Never had a bill in 6 years but I am going to have to sort it paying more for electricity in Menorca than I do at home and it's only used for about 3 month's.

Hi all
Well, the guy came to change the potencia today, so hopefully will see a reduction in bills. Will keep you posted when next bill arrives.

hi
need to moan as well most things on the island are getting over the top price wise
i was shocked to see my electric bill rise so high last month even on real readings also the banca march
is joining in the robbery with charges even though we have allways been in credit i should imagine property prices will fall lower because of high bills,
the start of this month myself and three other neighbours had a pipe changed for a septic tank the bill was near enough four thousand euros, wish we had other quotes.
as we are propping up the economy.
cheers neverstig

I have always been in credit & I'm charged 3.75 per month, also 24.00 for each debit card, also pay a fee for being non resident, also when I transfer money out I am charged a fee when the money arrives in my account. I'm not moaning, it's just how it is I suppose.
