Son Bou - bouncy castle in the sea
Son Bou - bouncy castle in the sea
Hi All
after reading about it in the online Menorca.info newspaper, I took my family along for a trip to Son Bou beach for the day last week to see the new addition to the sea-scape.
There is a massive floating bouncy castle about 300m off the beach and we just couldn't resist a go at 10 euro each for 1 hour.
It has platforms to climb up and dive off, swings and trampolines and was great fun for my 2 daughters and I - mum stayed on the beach soaking up the rays.
If you have active children, I'd definitely recommend it but didn't half feel my age the next day !
Enjoy

Feels good to be home

I know it's for the kids and not me, but I thought it a right blot on the landscape. No piccies from me.

When we were over there a couple of weeks ago, an outdoor massage parlour had been set up down that end of the beach. It was basically a gazebo with a couple of massage beds beneath it. Didn't see anyone getting done though, as the prices were quite steep, about 25-30 Euros for an hour I think. They did all sorts of different massages though, and you could even go for a couples special! But being as the little Chinese man does his 'massagey massagey 5 Euro' routine along the beach most days, I doubt whether they'd get many takers!
