BRITISH MENORCA

MAHON

May, 28th and 29th. Plaça Conquesta, (behind the Church of Santa Maria).

From 10.30am to 2pm and from 6pm to 9.30pm

Past and present local products, recreation of local crafts, popular games, folkloric dances of Menorca, concerts, 18th century costume parade, activities for children, pony rides, and the opportunity to taste 18th Century Menorcan gastronomy.

Also:
• Saturday and Sunday at 11am and 12.30pm. Guided walking tour of Maó. Departs from Plaça Conquesta. Free.
• Saturday and Sunday at 10am, 12noon and 5pm. Guided tours of saint Phillip’s Castle. Meet at the entrance. Punctuality advised. Free.
• Saturday from 9am to 7.30pm and Sunday from 9am to 3pm. Open day at Fort Marlborough. Free.
• Sunday at 9.30am and 11am. Visit to Isla del Rey (King's Island, Bloody Island). Departures starting at 8.45am from Fontanilles dock (Es Castell). Free.
• Sunday at 9am and 10.30am. Boat trip around the Port of Maó and visit to Isla del Rey. With Yellow Catamaran from the Port of Maó. Punctuality advised. €11/adult, €5/child.
