Holiday photo upload and place in posts

Post by Slartibartfast » August 11th, 2013, 4:10 pm

You can now upload and place holiday photos in your posts, no need to resize them [although if you have a multi-mega pixel camera it will take some time to upload]. We are testing this facility and hopefully it will be a permanent feature.

Instructions

One)Below the post body editor [where you type in], just below the "Save draft, Preview, Submit" buttons you should see an "Upload attachments" tab.

Two) Click on this tab then click "browse" in the new window browse your computer to choose your photo.

Three) Click "Add the file"

Four) Wait a moment for the photo to upload [Large photos (direct from your camera) may take a while to up-load]. Once photo has been uploaded you can add comments and either place the photo at the end of your post by clicking submit. Or place the photo at the position of the cursor in your posting text by clicking "Place inline"

Five) Click preview or submit to preview or post.

Any questions post them here-> viewforum.php?f=48 thanx.

Works very well, simple to use, I managed it on my own without asking for the kids help

I would like to post more than one attachment but the upload software will not allow an extra. How can I upload multiple images please?

Select an image and click "Add the file" Select another image and click "Add the file" ..... once all images have been uploaded write your post and all images will be added to the bottom. Or click "Place inline" to insert where the cursor is.

It may be corrupt but it isn't too large as the photo is resized by the forum software once its been uploaded.
