Job in Winter

Post by gisele22 » November 4th, 2019, 2:20 pm

I've just moved to Menorca a month ago and looking for work. I"m open to anything but my first choice is working with children and speaking English and/or French with them. I speak little Spanish but I learn language quickly. I am 18 and have lots of experience taking care of kids, I'm super warm, reliable and engaging. I'm open to any job though, cleaning, I'm a trained Barista, cook, artist... I have a french passport and English is my first language.
Any advice or guidance to where I should be looking for work at this quiet time of year would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,

Employment here is very seasonal - even for a high percentage of locals, and a good number of expats who have managed to find work with the likes of holiday companies/villa companies also find themselves out of work over the winter. If you haven't already, i suggest that you cast your net wider than just this forum to try and find work (Expats Menorca on Facebook sometimes lists job opportunities). Good luck.
