Hi All,
Sorry to be even more boring, but if you've seen a 'buzzard' it is more likely to be a booted eagle - very common on menorca, but your picture is of a red kite, also common and at this time of year they do mating dances!!!!
I'll get my coat.........

Thinking we may need a twitching section, didn't know we had so many members with an interest in the feathered variety

I claim no responsibility for the following disclaimer.
All opinions are my wife's; I have none. (In my opinion.)

Steve,
Us members with an interest in the feathered variety are still waiting for a "Twitching Section" to be set up (Don't like the word twitching, maybe call it a "Birding Section"). We will be on the island around St.Georges Day for a spot of birding, that's 2 months from your post, must be enough time! I am sure "Semh" and " Hodgehegs" and a lot of other like minded people would like to contribute to a discussion on the avian and other wildlife of Menorca. It is all part of the scene that makes up the island paradise that we all enjoy!
