I am sure it will be good to see...we live in St Annes on Sea just 1 mile south of Blackpool Int Airport.....They are due to land at Blackpool Int. Airport at 10.25 today.... and are here till Sunday 21st for the Southport Airshow. departing at 14.15 for Rennes in France...guess its then onto Menorca Monday am
They always do a mini display over the Airport/ our House / St Annes Cricket Club...200 mts. form ours.. when they are based here.

What an incredible display! Had a superb day topped by free hospitality top of Hotel Port Mahon. What a view! Thank you for that ( you know who you are ). That is certainly one we owe you.

The reds came over at 2.30 sharp following some sort of long winded mock helicopter sea rescue affair. Wonderful atmosphere all round. 25 minutes of awesome flying. Well done boys! Pencil me in for next year.

Sounds fantastic. Can't wait to see it for myself, sadly can't holiday out of the main school holidays for the next 4 years, due to college commitments

As we taxied out on our Cityflier flight to London City the dead sparrows were having their pre display briefing on the wing of one of the Hawks as they do.

The helicopter 'rescue' display was courtesy of a Spanish air force AS330 Search and Rescue Super Puma which was on the ramp with the Hawks.

Seems like the helicopter thingy was extended a bit due to the cancellation of a planned 'drop and fill' by the fire department water plane ( CL 215 is it? Or similar ). Pity as the latter is quite a spectacle close up.

The fire 'bomber' was a CL.415,turbine rather than piston engines, it had been practicing two day before over St. Louis.

I wonder why it was cancelled. Perhaps it had a fire to go to.
