Menorca Britannia with the help of Mahon council, Theatre Principal and the artists involved have organised a Charity concert in the Theatre Principal, Mahon.
After a week of several meetings at the Theatre Principal, with press conferences together with the stars of the show and the arranging of the actual programme and the upcoming rehearsals. Everyone are freely giving their services for these good causes.
We are very confident, that with the wonderfully talented cast we have, everyone will enjoy a fantastic evening of entertainment and at only 15 Euros each we hope you will attend. Tickets can be bought at the Theatre Principal in Mahon, box office opens from 11:30 I believe Tuesday to Friday.

What a great evening we all had, Spanish folk singers and guitarists, then traditional folk dancing, followed after the interval by a famous soprano lady from Menorca Maria Camps, she was fantastic, sang in Spanish, English and French, songs by Cole Porter and George Gershwin, even Tony Hatch was there, any one remember him. I only let him think he's in charge.

Wouldn't it be great if they put on evenings like this during the season? I'm sure us "tourists" would give generously at an event like this!

Yes that would be a good idea, and it's a beautiful theatre inside, if we hear of any in the season we will let you all know. I only let him think he's in charge.
