The Faithless Wife - Jo Eames

Post by dream.island » June 11th, 2013, 9:17 am

Just finished reading the Faithless Wife which is located in Menorca ... fascinating.

Does anyone know where the Cala is that Kate is living at?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for books/novels set in Menorca?

I started reading it last year, only quarter of the way through it :???: I believe it's set on the East coast. I am in the middle of reading Stories from The Golden farm, the big house across the harbour from Mahon (Mao) it's more like a history of the Island as seen from Golden farm, I think it's very interesting.
I only let him think he's in charge.

Hi Sharon,

No doubt Denise will fill you in on details, but found this:-

http://www.blogmenorca.com/en/?p=172

and the author was Ramón de Delas Sagarra

I think that Steve and Denise have been there a few times as well. :finga:

The only other two I've come across are A Meander In Menorca - David M Addison and A Yankee In Menorca - Lana Johnson.

I'm currently reading a Yankee in Menorca - well I say currently, I keep picking it up and putting it down. I seem to have got out of the habit of reading me book on the commute for a while :???:

But i'm determined to finish it

Faithless Wife I think is the first Menorcan one I read. It was okay'ish - us members kept reading it and then passing it onto whoever wanted to read it next, a good way of doing it.
I'll stop moaning, when you give me a pay rise this :arms: big
