PADI Diving

Post by gregscott » January 20th, 2020, 12:32 pm

Hi,

Finally back to Menorca this year after a couple of years

We will be staying at the Talayots again, can't wait for July !

Since our last visit my daughter has taken the PADI Open Water Scuba Diving course and wants to do some dives while we are in Menorca and maybe do her Advanced Open Water. Does anyone know if there are any PADI Diving centres in Cala n Forcat? I think there used to be a Dive Centre at the back of the Talayots, but it wasn't PADI

Thanks

Greg

http://www.bluewaterscuba.co.uk/

It would seem that the one at Cala En Forcat has closed shop, looking at the site above in Cala En Bosch is open and click on the courses it will tell you what you can do, hope this helps.
I only let him think he's in charge.

I wouldn’t worry to much about finding or using a PADI dive centre. I started my dive career with BSAC about 30 years ago, I then did some courses with a PADI school and but most of my qualifications are now through SSI. They’re making it all very interchangeable between the different federations. If your daughter did her advanced open water with an SSI school it would still be recognised by a PADI school and vice versa.
